<div dir="ltr"><div>Actually they weren't :-) the in-use one was a 128G and I used the Samsung software to do a seamless migration to the 500 G drive. <div dir="ltr">I just recently bought a Samsung 512G Evo line SSD, and with the transfer software that it came with, the swap was just about invisible. $220 or so for the drive and included software.<br>

<p>There is definitely a place for multiple machines. These days I have the (new) MacPro for DAW and general work, and I have a second Win machine that has all the development tools and materials I need for the CS courses that I teach.
I also use that second machine for the VM connection to my machine at work. The second machine has no monitors, keyboards, etc., and I use multiple desktops from my MacPro to switch between the machines.<br>
