We went to see a specialist (friend of her <br>brother's) the day after we arrived, had an MRI scan on Tuesday (private <br>insurance, otherwise it would have taken ages) and went to see the <br>specialist again on Thursday. Today she had the first physiotherapy <br>(best friend of her brothers; you're probably noticing a trend here).<br><br>It's a small tear in her cartilage, so things could have been worse. <br>She's no longer using the crutches (or "clutches", as our son calls <br>them), but going up and down the stairs is still too ambitious.<br><br>Another disadvantage is that I'm forced to drive her in her own car, a <br>rather crappy 10 year old Renault Clio diesel, instead of my own, <br>smooth, 1 year old but unfortunately rather low Open Astra GTC turbo <br>petrol.
