</div>REAPER is amazing: <a href="http://reaper.fm/" target="_blank">http://reaper.fm/</a><br><br>Its a no-hassle replacement for Logic. You don't have to change your OS, and you have a superlative DAW. I think it really kicks the llama's ass.<br>
<br>Ardour is also amazing: <a href="http://ardour.org/" target="_blank">http://ardour.org/</a><br><br>It is a -some- hassle replacement for Logic. If you give Ubuntu Studio a try, you can have a "low"-hassle replacement for it. Just install UbuntuStudio on a new disk and boot from it .. and once you get your UbuntuStudio DAW settled, it will be stable and treat you right for years, as long as you treat it right. At least, thats been my experience.<br>
