<p>This one is not about reason but about style. I have plenty of things I could turn into a vt type Thing. It s just appealing for me to turn one of those things as a functional music sequencer.</p>

It shipped with a VT52 emulator in its OS, and it also provides for midi. Probably as expensive as the terminal you posted though.<br>
