There is the false idea that you can start with one or two modules and expand, but there really is a base amount of functionality before a system becomes useful. The base cost of that seems to be around $2500 for eurorack, though <a href="http://synthesizers.com">synthesizers.com</a> does have their starter system for $1440 (on $120 monthly installment plan). I prefer the size of the euro stuff, plus the variety of modules is insane. If I build a second panel, however, it may just be .com. </div>
