CPU whine through one monitor speaker

 I agree, it's always the cables :-)
For sure the last time I had to fix a similar noise issue. it was definitely the cables.

Got floor lanterns or desk lamps? Those are bad. New hard drive? Shitty new USB cable somewhere?

The whole circuit contains a lot of paths.  It’s always the cable.
