That may be the most prescriptive constraints I've ever seen around a
compilation :)


128 bpm
swing between 54%-58% for logic, 4%-8% for Ableton
hats, side sticks, claps, conga, and percussion from 707,808,909 are ok,
no snares no cowbells no steam
no obvious samples (no biggie smalls or rolling stones)
vocals or spoken word must be original by you or your singer (no mariah
carey acapellas)
909 style kick
great bass line
2-3 melodic parts focused on the interplay with the percussive elements
strings or pads no more than 1/3 of song and only in an
intro/outro/breakdown
8 to 12 tracks/channels maximum (not counting side chain)
6-7min
