New Monitor - LG Widescreen 34UM95-P ?

The main positive regarding 21:9 is they don't provide a crazy amount of
resolution like 4k monitors where the resolution is just too fine to really
benefit most users and, today's graphics cards can actually drive it...  The
benefit of these wide monitors is they are just like any other 1440 vertical
pixel monitor but, with the extra width.

For example, this monitor is exactly the same as having two 5:4 1720x1440
monitors
