Yup, it's nothing but Ableton for the DAW.

The core of it was done in Reaktor5 using Ultraloop. Ultraloop is freaking
amazing tool to do sample mangle, re-edit, glitchy stuff. After setting up
my drum layers in Ultraloop, it was then a matter of doing loads of edits
and messing about, until I had a tons of layers to work with. In Ultraloop
you first set up your layers, then edit them, and then assign them to
controller keys (Novation 61SL for me) for switching between the "scenes".
Then I recorded a whole loads of me messing about with the layers in real
time, using the keyboard, and then recording it as audio in Live. I then
started chopping up the audio and assigned 1-bar, 2-bar sections to my
lovely Novation Launchpad-Mini controller sitting along side my Novation
LaunchContro-XL mixer-controller :-) I then recorded all the drums and
beats tracks into Live Arrangement and got it to where I was happy with it.

At this point my newest tools come in: Fabfilter's new ProQ2 equalizer and
the ProC compressor. I absolutely love ProQ2, hands down the best EQ
plugin I've ever worked with. I recorded loads of volume and ProQ2 changes
as automation in Live to give it some dynamics.

The bass sounds were pretty much covered in from my Ultraloop in Reaktor,
and then for the synth parts, what you hear is U-He Zebra2 and
Spectrasonics Omnisphere, doing their thing.

That's it :-)

Cheers for the support guys.
