Hey, Nigel, very cool post. Good to see what all of you guys are
doing these days :-)

I haven't really been doing anything worthwhile since preparing
the 2 tracks for the October 5th music-party last year in
Wageningen. Although I did another song for the "Drijfzand"
project (with Perry) it was actually a remix of stuff I had
already done before. We're still planning on preparing a complete
1 hour set, do some gigs and get an album out.

I am also still planning/preparing for/working on a new Wave
World album called "Membrane" (DVD/video, minimal, danceable,
very spacey). We've been planning this DVD since 2001 (really!).
I've got the whole thing in my head since years, I just need the
time to do it...

Last jam was with the Anushri, a couple of months ago :-)

Reason for the "time-out": way too much work. I'm changing this
at the moment, though, since I'm really missing making music. I'm
just wondering if I still know how to work all my gear and
software :-)

Mostly old 80's and some 90's stuff and some minimal techno, as
always. Most of the time when I try new stuff, my reaction is one
of the next: "boring", or "heard that before, but way better".

I do quite a bit of jamming on the guitar since a couple of
years. I have been a guitar player since I was 5 years old, but
always did simple chords and some simple licks. I wanted to be
able to do solo improvisation, though. So now, 3-4 times a day I
just let my work be my work, and jam along with youtube "guitar
backing tracks". I must say, I think I'm slwly getting the hang
of it... My favourite style is fusion (jazz-rock). Brilliant :-)

cheers all :-)
