The panel is made of a aluminum strip and an overlay of laminated paper. 
I didn't want to spend too much money on it.
The total cost of these mods is about 50 euro. (mainly a dual EG PCB and 
wires, a lot of wires) So, well worth it.

Do you know what Tony asked for the one he was selling?

I'm considering going a little further with this project. I'm thinking 
of the following extra mod's:
Add a second VCO, modify the second VCF, add a new PSU, additional audio 
buffers for all sounds + mixer and add some extra in and outputs for CV 
and audio.
But this would require a new case to put everything in. I can do that, 
but I'm just not sure if I want to go that far.
