Arturia Spark (v Maschine)

So, just been playing with the demo for a few hours.  They synthesis is very
strong but if anything, too strong..  On the 888 you have 1 synth engine for
each instrument (eg kick, snare etc).  With Spark you have tons of synth
engines, even just looking at a kick you have a choice of 4 synth engines
(plus two forms of sample playback and I don’t understand why there are the
2 forms).  The synthesis is a bit like the MonoMachine where you only get a
dozen parameters but these are very well chosen, producing a massive range
of results.

So, its pretty powerful even just from the VST demo, without the hardware.

I can get a new one for £300 delivered so at this stage, im pretty tempted.
Maybe I could run it next to Maschine and my 888 before deciding which
one(s) to sell on..

No one got any experience with Spark?
