Put it this way: your EX5 needs the electrical compliance testing, but 
your AN1x only needs it for the wall-wart adapter. I don't know the 
finer details, since I'll never go into this line of business.

Point is, I don't want to discourage Paul, but I want even less that 
he'd get disappointed, or burnt, or something of the sort.
