Yes...but he is much more engineer than musician.  My guess is he probably took the presets he already had for the mopho and just loaded those up.  Mono patches don't usually translate well to polyphonic ones..

Also, he has odds tastes.  The Evolver was specifically designed to be a mess of feedback and distortion.  That's why they are so hard to get your usual standard synth patches out of.  Their sweet spot is in the twilight zone compared to most synths.
