Uh-uh! They may be gone for you, but the Dutch internet provider XS4All 
yesterday opened a modem bank for people to dial in (say, from Libya) 
and in that way circumvent the obstacles that tyrannical regimes have 
put in the way of free information sharing.

It's crazy that we have to resort to 'ancient' technology for this sort 
of thing.
