Hasnt it though?  I think about how much data Consume, process and
transmit on a daily basis and its absolutely staggering.

My band works almost entirely in shared digital space.  We get
together for practices only once every month or so, but we are
constantly exchanging data (we use SugarSync).

With soundcloud, I record a 16 minute jam, and load it up in a few
minutes.  In 1998...that would have just been impossible.

And we dont even talk about printing CDs anymore.  There is just so
little point.  Everyone just asks if we are on iTunes or Amazon MP3
store anyway.
