EOS Rebel T2i lenses

I'm using 50 mm 1.4 with Canon 5D too. I had been using 50 mm 1.8 II for 
years and switched to 1.4 this year after getting a great deal. 1.4 is 
better built than 1.8 and feels more solid. I think also focusing is better.

That being said, I would still recommend 1.8 first and then switch later 
to 1.4 if 1.8 isn't enough. There are differences, but they might not 
always be worth the extra money.
