Ahh, and I've just seen that Maplin (UK electronics retailer) sells network 
cable in lengths up to 100m, so I can probably just buy the amount I need if I 
can't get it off Freecycle.

Well, looks like cable is still a good option.  :-)

I'm just intrigued by this wok-fi thing, s'all!
