Does the name Christian Kleine mean anything to you guys?

A service I recently got myself into is new vintage drum sounds
(oxymoron?) for old 8-bit drums machines. I do it for Drumulators

and recently I've been doing it for Drumtraks (although I don't actually
have one!).

The Drumtraks stuff came about because I got contacted by this US funky
gansta rappa called Smoov-E (links in the page) who knew I could do 808
sounds for the Drumulator but could I do it for the Drumtraks. I hummed
and erred and the said yes. It all went well and he sent me some sound
clips when he installed them in his machine. You can hear them on my
web page. I think they're excellent.

Anyway I then offered my service to the Analog Heaven community and
heared...well not a lot. But one guy, Christian Kleine, did want new
sounds for his Drumtraks but not 808. He wanted Linn, moreover, Linn
LM-1*, that's the Prince, Peter Gabriel, Human league Dare one.

I've only just seen that he's associated with Ableton and is a top
German musician - so God damn!

Cheers

Chris

*note: there are many sample sets purporting to be LM-1 but they are
LinnDrum (LM-2) and there are many sample sets saying they are LM-2 but
are Linn 9000. I *know* the difference. We *know* the difference right?

BTW: I'll be getting a second Linn 9000 today :D Although both are
broken :( But I'll fix them :D
