LED bulbs

So, is anybody using these? I walked into a tiny shop today (in a 
somewhat run-down neighbourhood, strange given that it's a side street 
of the Ta'Xbiex sea front with a yacht marina) and they were selling LED 
bulbs with normal E27 or E14 socket (similar to the US E26 and E17).

Pros:
* The amount of light of a 25W to 30W incandescent bulb, but only uses 1.6W;
* Pleasant yellow-ish colour, much like a fluorescent bulb;
* You basically never have to change them.

Cons:
* They're €10 a piece.

And if you would know a place that sells them on-line and doesn't mind 
shipping abroad, that would be nice, too. :)
