What is this hardSID thing?

I recently built a midibox SID for a friend (as wedding gift). It had 4 SID IC's in it, but he modded it and now it's got 8 SID's in it. I like the sounds, but even with the control surface, i hate editing sounds on it. Well, everybody his taste.

Cheers,
ToAd
