Hi ,
Well I m not a computer genius ,
but I agree with Jay and Joost ...
I won t do any backup on line , for me it sounds I lose control of my
data and also my rights without mentioning money and time ... ( even
5 euro a month or 60 euro a year ),
I will prefer to do a physical backup with an external hard drive
( that I can run when ever I want )...
O,r as it was mention above , I will prefer to get a website and put
my data on my ftp ....( i will be more in control than giving my data
to an company backup ...)

Anyhow let say you computer crash, and your complete data is gone ...
my question is :

How long will you take to download all your backup again ?
knowing it takes you 3 weeks or 3 years to upload your data ... 5
Gigs a day you said ....

Nb: The online backup is quite interesting but I m more or less
paranoid about what Jay mentioned ... ( i think i m not the lonely one)
I will prefer if someone from Ampfea will propose to do something like
this on line ( like what does Joost with his company with a private
server ,) ,
rather than upload my data to a company/people that i don t know ...
( i really hope you read the contract of it cause I won t be
surprised if somewhere it s written ( in very small terms) to
mention: " after upload your data is not your private data anymore
" ) ...

Well Let's say I m paranoid ...

Nice subject tho ;)
