Release strategy

Ok...so I almost have an actual cd worth of material that I am
actually happy with.  Now I need to figure out what to do with it.

I mean...I know I could put it on an actual cd, pimp it to the 4
remaining indie record shops and sell it on the net.....but honestly
that just feels so 1997...

My thought is myspace + facebook, send it to some djs, give away some
tracks with the total release available on usb thumb drive...

Opinions?  It been a long time since I did this.
