Now I'm not a chilli aficionado, but one time in Amsterdam, we were 
having supper at an Indonesian restaurant. Their 'sambal' (sort of 
chilli paste) was quite hot, but my word, it had a wonderful taste. So 
this was a somewhat painful battle between heat and taste.
