Well, it was a lovely beer-laden night at the MetaLab here in Stormy
Vienna last night, so what better to do than build a super little
digital synthesis platform for avid hacking?

Here is the result:

Samples and a demo track to follow .. more details about the kit here:

Sounds really great .. and the code is a wonder to learn from! This
is, folks, a 60-euro Chameleon ..

We've got really basic FM and sine-waves happening now, even a little
arpeggiator, and with 12k left to spare, tonights hacking session will
consist primarily of wavetable conversion and stuffing to see if we
can get a rythmn-box/drum machine sequencer app built for it as well.
If anyone has any decent wavetables (Paul M, do you?) already in 8-
bit, 255-byte buffer format, please consider sending them my way ..
and filter designs suitable for the ATmega16 would be an interesting
next topic too, considering ..
