It's just a question of sound, like pretty much everything. I think 80% of
the minimal techno guys use the MD and love it's digital clean-ness... to
the point that I'm sometimes wondering if the whole movment has not been
triggered indirectly by elektron. The MD has big ass names raves from people
like Ritchie Hawtin & Ae.. you could get worse :)

That being said, I have a huge love/hate relationship with mine. I like the
sound engine and philosophy but I don't like the sequencer as I find it way
too fiddly and its way too easy to fuck things up. It's nice to get sounds
out, I'm totally unable to build any decent song structure out of it.

I should once try the MnM and see if it got the same flaw or would be, on
the other hand, a pleasant surprise.
