The only thing I remember from those 
days (1985?) is that I was working on 
the mainframe computer of my university, 
and I had to enter all those 
incomprehensible commands to just set up 
some simple SPSS statistics test - and I 
was allowed to use the massive amount of 
17K of memory. No idea if this was RAM 
or whatever. Back then I didn't even 
know what RAM was.
That was the time I swore never to work 
with computers in the future. Way too 
complex.
Until Perry showed me an Apple Macintosh 
SE, somewhere in 1989. Within 30 minutes 
I suddenly understood what I had been 
doing all those years...
